Team Japspeed Ready For Trax!

Trax is a staple event of the UK show scene calendar and has held its position as the biggest and most important show of its kind for many years now. Held at the historic Silverstone venue, the show attracts tens of thousands of spectators every year, whether they are there to check out the club stands, watch the on-track demonstrations or even to take their own car on track as part of the public track time sessions!

The Maxxis British Drift Championship will be putting on a number of demonstration runs throughout the show, with a large field of drivers from the Semi-Pro, Pro and Super-Pro classes all getting involved. Team Japspeed driver Brett Castle will be representing the team in the 2JZ powered Japspeed Lexus IS200 – the same beast that Formula D driver Ryan Tuerck had to tame just a few weeks ago.

Brett is no stranger to Silverstone and knows the circuit like the back of his hand, thanks in part to his many of years of drift competitions at the world renowned venue. Some of you may remember when D1GB and EDC visited the track on a number of occasions, with one of the most memorable moments being when Brett defeated the infinitely talented Japanese drifter Kumakubo from Team Orange in a battle that many veterans of the UK drift scene still remember very fondly.

Trax will take place on Sunday 8th September – more information and advance tickets are available from the Trax website here: www.traxshows.co.uk/.
