It’s official: Team Japspeed are heading to Barbados for the Top Gear Festival! Set to be held at Bushy Park Circuit on the beautiful Carribean island of Barbados, the event will take place over the 17th and 18th May and features a star studded line up including Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, gymkhana legend Ken Block and motorcross hero Travis Pastrana. Alongside these will be Top Gear’s infamous trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May and their sidekick The Stig as they play host to the weekend’s events.

Team Japspeed drivers Shane Lynch and Shane O’Sullivan will be making the trip over to the remote island with the Team Japspeed V8 S15 and 2JZ Lexus IS200 to put on a number of demonstrations for the crowds (expected to be in the tens of thousands) on the newly renovated Bushy Park Circuit. With the event being the first to be held at the track since its recent overhaul we are hugely excited to be among the first to lay down plenty of rubber on the fresh tarmac!

As the event is being organised by the Barbados Tourism Authority you can be sure that Top Gear Festival Barbados is set to be a star-studded and action-packed weekend of everything automotive and we can’t wait to be a part of it. Hopefully the weather will be a little nicer than it is in the UK as well!
