As the summer drift season really gets into full swing and round 1 of the Irish Drift Championship already done and dusted, the team at IDC are keen to go above and beyond all expectations with Round 2!
For the first time in Irish drifting history the second round of the championship will see over 100 drivers from across the country as well as much further afield descend on the 2,500-seater Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, Cork to compete indoors for a weekend of loud noises, tyre smoke and hair raising drift battles!
Not only will the weekend’s event take place indoors but add to the mix a full light and sound system, illuminated scoring zones and a custom walled circuit featuring 8 rear clipping points and you have a ridiculously exciting series of battles!
Set to be a unique event where spectators can expect a concert-like arrangement in which the weather, (for a change) will not be a factor.

Team Japspeed driver Shane ‘Sully’ O’Sullivan faces an exhilarating weekend as he goes up against some of the top names in Irish drifting to battle it out on an all or nothing circuit set to challenge even the toughest competitors’ skills.
This world first fully enclosed competitive drift event will take place on June 6-7th at Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, Cork – you won’t want to miss it.
