Tell us a little about your car:
My car is a Nissan Silvia Jap import year 2000, the shell is probably the only thing left standard at this stage! it’s fitted with a 2500cc turbo charged engine from its older brother, the Nissan skyline. There is a Quaife sequential gear box and again a Nissan skyline GTR rear end. It’s also got a Owen Developments GTN35-76 turbo which gives it around 500BHP a long way from the factory 200BHP

Why did you get in to drifting?
There is a number of reasons got into drifting. I was always into cars from as far back as I can remember, we travelled around Ireland attending all the car rallies. The pinnacle moment for me was watching an Escort Mk2 and an Opel mantas slide around the corners, I loved it so much. When I went to Silverstone to watch my first drift event in 2005 it all made sense and I knew this was the sport for me.

What events have you driven in and how did you do?
I have been competing in the Irish Drift Championship (formerly Prodrift) every year since 2006 only missing one event. I have podiumed at 2nd and 3rd.
I have been competing in the British Drift championship since 2010 – Winning it in 2014
I have also attended Demos in the NEC and appeared on Top Gear Live in Barbados

What is your greatest achievement?
Best result was wining British Drift Championship in 2014. It was a tough season with me finishing 4th at the final event; however I had done enough to secure the top spot with a massive 33 points! Adding this to the rest of the teams points we were also crowned Constructors Champions!

What are your plans for the future?
I hope to keep competing and enjoying the sport. Hopefully at some point upgrade my engine to a 3000cc to give me even more BHP.
