Just a week on from BDC Round 3 and Team Japspeed were once again out on track performing for the crowds! This time Japspeed took over Japfest 2 @ Donington Park, and if you’ve never been to a Japfest before you’re seriously missing out – hands down the best shows for Japanese car culture with plenty going on all day. So with the trailer loaded, the cars all prepped and goodies galore to hand out to the fans Team Japspeed were on their way…
For 2011 we’ve fully kitted out a bespoke Team Trailer you can see in the pics below. Rather than just turn up to each event with the drift cars, the trailer allows us to show you all the quality of every Japspeed product right up close. Still need persuading? Our team cars all use Japspeed products, from the brakes to the suspension and exhausts – and that’s proven winning quality right there! But along with the parts, we’re also giving out goodie bags and stickers all day – what more do you want from a trader!
Unlike BDC Round 1 Donington, today’s drift demos took place on the circuit as opposed to the launch pad. With all the trade area and viewing down by Redgate corner it made for perfect viewing when the car’s went out, and with all three Japspeed cars producing over 1500bhp between them it’s a serious sight to behold! Shane’s V8 with its new twin-shotgun system was absolutely deafening… in the best possible way, while Paul ‘Smokey’ Smith lived up to his name by smoking out the whole corner!
