Every year, CarFest (hosted by self-confessed car fanatic Chris Evans) raises hundres of thousands of pounds for Children in Need, with last year’s South event raising £750,000 for the charity. Team Japspeed are proud to announce that we will be attending this year’s CarFest North event that is being held at the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th of August.

The event will feature live music, car galleries, charity auctions and, of course, on track sprint action featuring some of the rarest and most desirable cars on the planet. Aston Martin will also be putting on a 100 car parade as part of their 100 year celebration. Amongst these supercars and hypercars will be Team Japspeed drivers Paul Smith and Brett Castle along with our 1JZ powered Impreza, 2JZ powered IS200 and 1.5JZ S15. While the event isn’t a drifting competition as such we will strive to put on the best show possible to entertain the 40,000 strong crowd – I’m sure we’ll be allowed to have a little sideways fun!
