Team Japspeed at CarFest North 2021!
The quartet of Paul ‘Smokey’ Smith, Matt Denham, Ant Thompson and Rob Black head to Bolesworth Castle for CarFest North 2021. With music, stars, cars and great food all on offer, it was gearing up to be another incredible event.
It was also another opportunity for Japspeed driver Matt Denham to get to grips with his newly built 2JZ powered Nissan S13 after a CV joint issue ended his weekend early at round 3 of the UK drift Championship.
It was also the first public showing of Ant’s LS V8 powered Lexus IS200. Replacing the 2JZ unit of previous years. The two where joined by Smokey’s Toyota GT86 and Rob Black’s Nissan S15.
It was great to see Rob Black and Paul ‘Smokey’ Smith out on track together.
The onsite Ferris Wheel provided a great vantage point to see all the action from a different perspective.
The White, 2JZ powered Nissan Silvia duo off Matt Denham and Rob Black.
The niggles from the S13’s UK Drift Championship debut where fixed and the car ran faultlessly all weekend!
