Already we are half way through the 2011 motor sport calendar, and we have travelled over 1100 miles visiting some of the UK’s finest circuits in the quest to satisfy our drivers need for speed.Vaughan has taken part in 3 different series this year, although it’s the BARC’s “Classic Thunder” championship that he his concentrating on.
In 2009 and 2010 the driver from Chesterfield dominated the “Nippon Challenge” but this year he sought to test the “ScoobyClinic” prepared Subaru and himself alongside some of the UK quickest cars and drivers. Racing in all conditions from blistering heat to monsoon downpours the Silverware collection has continued to grow.
Following 4 rounds of the “Classic Thunder” championship, Fletcher has a commanding lead in his class, and sits in 3rd place overall from 35 entries. The second half of the year will see the team head to Pembrey, Thruxton, Cadwell and rounding off the season at Rockingham in October.
