One of the easiest ways to increase performance from a turbocharged engine is with a large front-mount intercooler kit. By making the intake temperature cooler, (thanks to it’s larger surface area and core) additional air and fuel can be added upon allowing much more power to be achieved as well as improving the overall combustion process.

Just like it’s predecessors, the latest ‘Shark Eye’ Subaru Impreza features a top-mount intercooler directly above the turbocharger. Aside from absorbing turbo heat directly, the top-mount intercooler is greatly compromised in size due to it’s positioning. This makes it the perfect candidate for a Japspeed front-mount intercooler – improving cooling capacity and de-cluttering the already cramped engine bay.

Unlike other kits, Japspeed’ front mount intercooler is a complete bolt-on replacement.
