Nissan’s R35 GT-R is THE performance car of the 21st century. Since it’s launch the R35 has shown unbeatable performance for it’s price and power, mainly thanks to a truly astonishing engine/transmission setup which sees every unit built in a dirt-free environment by individual Nissan engineers.

What has made the R35 such a popular choice with new and old GT-R owners is jsut how tune-able the car is despite it’s blistering performance as standard. With early examples now available for just over £30,000 you won’t get better performance for the money, and with power output taken to over 500bhp with a good exhaust system Japspeed has developed a full turbo-back system without the ‘GT-R Tax’ usually applied by other manufacturers.

For the best gasflow, Japspeed’s GT-R downpipes measre at 2.75 inch before expanding to a 3.5 inch mid-section all the way through to the 4 inch tailpipes which retain the factory look. Manufactured from mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel the quality is second to none, and with every flange CNC machined you can guarantee a strong, accurate fit.

With the Japspeed system fitted, GT-R owners can expect a much more throaty noise along with improved throttle response and power gains of upto 20bhp. Please note, due to the decat section of this exhaust it will not pass the MOT emissions tests and as such is sold as an off-road or race setup due to the 110db noise level. A remap is also advised to stop your vehicle from over-boosting.
