Exhaust Fabricator

Japspeed has an opportunity available for an experienced Exaust Fabricator to join the team based in Manchester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 8:30am – 5:30pm, and in return you will receive a competitive salary depending on experience.

Due to a period of rapid expansion we are seeking a bright and proactive Exhaust Fabricator to work alongside our existing engineering team to design and manufacture sports and performance car products; Some will be added to our existing catalogue for sale while others will see you working on custom race cars and unique applications. You will be a confident fabricator able to understand and support a prepared production plan; working with a degree of independence

You will make use of a keen eye and a design orientated imagination to identify production faults and suggest improvements. You will also be required to complete supporting documentation including procedure checks and final inspection documents.

No two days are ever the same with us, so if you’re up for a challenge this could be just what you’re looking for.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years Automotive / Mechanical Assembly experience
  • Minimum of 2 years MIG/TIG welding experience
  • Ability to understand and follow a workshop plan
  • Excellent team player; able to multi-task
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident fabrication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Self-motivated - able to work with a degree of independence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the aftermarket car parts scene
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Experience fabricating exhaust manifolds a distinct advantage

Digital Content Administrator

Japspeed has an opportunity available for an experienced Digital Content Administrator to join the team based in Manchester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 8:30am – 5:30pm, and in return you will receive a competitive salary depending on experience.

Due to a period of rapid expansion we are seeking a bright and proactive Digital Content Administrator with the drive as well as a keen eye for detail in order to maximise our content marketing strategy and help drive sales forward. Ideally you will have a strong background in content marketing or social media but you will be comfortable with a varied role where no two days are the same.

You will be required to take on a number of tasks and be proactive working partly under your own initiative. This is a fantastic position which, for the right candidate could springboard to further opportunities.

What are the responsibilities of the Digital Content Administrator?

  • Work with the wider digital team to develop our content marketing strategy with a focus on social media
  • Work alongside key stakeholders and the wider business to author original content for our social media, PR and ecommerce outlets
  • Identify strategies and tactics to increase the number of visitors to our website
  • Monitor changes in the industry and keep your knowledge up to date with the latest techniques
  • Assist in the creation of new product listings across our website as well as eBay and Amazon
  • Work with the wider digital team to monitor listing performance and make adjustments to improve conversion rate for all products
  • Assist with minor adjustments to digital assets such as product images via Adobe Photoshop or similar
  • Regularly check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor website performance to make recommendations for improvements

What skills do I need to have to become a Digital Content Administrator at Japspeed?

  • Live and breathe all things social media with a particular focus on business uses
  • A genuine interest in digital marketing and/or SEO
  • A solid understanding of how blogging, press-releases, social media and SEO strategies work within the marketing mix
  • Be comfortable working as part of a larger team to achieve company goals
  • A commitment to keeping your technical skills and knowledge up to date
  • Have a keen eye for and commitment to even the smallest of details
  • A functional understandng of HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite incl. Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Keyword tools and SEO techniques an advantage
  • Experience with Magento and eBay/Amazon dashboards an advantage
