Japfest is the biggest Japanese car show on the UK show calendar, with thousands of cars and tens of thousands of spectators descending on Castle Combe circuit for the annual event. We are pleased to announce that Japspeed drivers Paul Smith and Danny Eyles will be in attendance and competing in the show’s Drift Kings competition!

Each year the Castle Combe circuit is opened to the public to allow them to put their cars through their paces, testing out their modifications on one of the UK’s best known race circuits.

The hundreds of club stands dotted around the venue play host to thousands of the finest Japanese cars in the country, ranging from relatively run-of-the-mill hatchbacks to stunning Honda NSXs and Nissan Skyline GTRs.

However, the main priority for Danny and Paul is the Drift Kings competition that will be taking place on the fastest section of the circuit. Drivers will be judged on a number of factors throughout the day including speed, style, flair and entertainment. With so many spectators looking forward to being blown away by the drifters in attendance Team Japspeed’s finest will be pushing their cars to the absolute limit in the name of entertaining!

Our 1JZ Subaru and Paul Smith’s 1.5JZ S15 will be bringing the noise to the competition and will be laying down an impressive amount of Maxxis rubber as they smoke out the venue. When Paul and Danny aren’t out on track, be sure to head over to the Samco stand to catch up with them and chat all things drifting.
